Official Post Your DSLR Still Photography Thread

Just a general comment - I love this thread. It is so great to see everyone's work.

Thanks

If everyone isn't too sick of them already, a couple more from Joshua tree (both of split rock -- sadly minus the "split" in the 1st)

Tim,
I would suggest that you join Photobucket or some other imaging sharing site and post the IMG data in your posts.

I only ever post in very low rez, circa 50Kb, versions of the images so that there is no great issue with people nicking them......link doesn't work.

Cheers,
Mark.

Just got this guy in the garden. About one inch in length. Cropped from Landscape orientation. Shot at 1:1 with a Canon MP-E65mm mounted on a Canon 400D with a hand held Canon 580EX MkII Speedlite.

JPEG basically straight out of the 5D Mark II, no color adjustments. I shot this, along with a lot of video, at Huntington today, on a $240 Sigma 28-300mm. I got some really beautiful light.
