Log and tranfer- Import at 2k

Hi,

I've recently just shot on the RED at 3k.
My final output is 2k, So i would like to Log and transfer and edit at 2k.
How do i log and transfer with FCP all the 3k footage to 2k?

WHen we did a test shoot first, it was shot at 4k.
And when i tested to Log and transfer, it automatically came into FCP at 2k.
How is that so?

Anything smaller than 4K will ingest at native resolution. 4K will ingest at 2K resolution. This is by design due to the fact that FCP does not [currently?] work with 4K. Right now there is no way to change this behavior from within the L&T plugin.

Use a 2K proxy, use RedCine to transcode the footage, or put the 3K clips onto a 2K timeline and look forward to long boring render times...
