  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Snap-tite, Build-a-Bear, Tinker toy - it will be able to be all things to all people, no more arguing over who has the "better" camera, it will just be as good as you can afford to make it, totally egalitarian....

The beauty will be that RED will not have to build more cameras, they will just build one base camera, endlessly upgradeable.

hm, except that my real-name account has been mysteriously de-activated since that posting. But my old account seems to work fine. I am hoping that there is no connection between an innocent speculation and the de-activation of my account.

I own two of these cameras and had no intent to spoil Jim's fun, I was just posting my best guess, along with a whole lot of other incorrect guesses along the way, just a more refined re-hash of something I had already said in another thread, but it was entirely ignored previously....

I hope that I'm just being paranoid and that something glitchy-technical happened.

That had to be an odd glitch. I'm sure no one would deactivate your account for a guess.
