They are amazing for the price. Great battery life. Excellent range. Really easy to tweak. All in all a great product.

But throw away the mic that came with it and get a real one when you can.

did you mean that it is mic is not good ? will you advise me for alternative mic please ?

I have a set of the first generation Sennheiser Evolution lapel radio mics, which I use with my Z1, and I agree that the transmitter/receivers are pretty good (for the price) but the mic that comes with them is pretty mediocre. I gather the second generation ones are better than mine, but the mic is still poor. I've replaced the lapel mic with a Sanken COS-11 which I'm very pleased with.

WHICH MODEL of them is it (RED DOT ,OR,lavaliers,,)will you refer please cause i want to get one of them ..?is it coasty ?
what about sanken shotguns with wide range coverage do you have any idea ?:excl:

I have 3 Sanken COS-11's and can vouch for their quality. Another one to look at is Countryman B6. It's smaller than the Sanken, but a little more fragile too. For sound quality, I favor the Sanken, but it's very close (and subjective). Both are much better than the lav included with the G2 kit.

The COS-11 red dot version has lower sensitivity. I have the non-red dot version, and I think they're fine for speech.

Lots of discussions at dvxuser.com.

I agree with sumfun, the Sanken are really nice sounding. I have the b6 as well and if you want to hide mics the b6 is the way to go. The Trams are are nice and used extensively in broadcast and have low self noise. but if I had to pick one I would go with the Sanken
