  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Offhollywood Chicago & Offhollywood London

London is a highly competitive market and pricing for Red is already in the toilet so dont expect to be buying champagne from the profits you do or dont make yanks always think they know better well they dont.

Wow talk about "friendly" competition :whistling:

Well go back to the original strap line were hardly likely to roll out the "Red" carpet

2009. We are coming. And that's just the beginning.

Interesting. Our first of three Red features "Plastic" is set in "Midcity" Illinois a somewhat mythical location and home to mythical credit giant American Excess. Small budget by Hollywood standards just under 15 million but its actually being shot in Canada and Italy.

I'm sure I'll get my ass kicked ... being from such an easy town like NYC.

The first bottle of Champagne I buy in London will be a gift for you - for giving me that little bit of extra motivation.

Ha ha!! Mark, we're not all quite so unwelcoming in London...honestly

I don't know where we get this reputation for being rude...I really don't :whistling:

Seriously though, congratulations on the London branch, the more people who know exactly what they're doing the better for Red's reputation over here with hard-to-convince producers.

Chicago you say... you're coming to my town to play? Better call me for dogs and a beer!

Boston still doesn't have a Scratch system as far as I know. Someone jump in and correct me if I'm wrong. Would love a place to bring people and show them the real power of Red. Seems to be a lot of doubters still in this town. So, when you start to explore Boston, give me a call. I know a very large studio who might be interested in having Offhollywood on their premisis.

Thanks Dave! No congrats yet please, still a few small mountains to sprint up - but I'm coming to London. 100% for sure.

Best wishes, Mark.

So...2 hr flight away, ey...

Will buy you a warm beer or two when you're over!

I'd like to second that. You can never have too much expertise around. Your arrival can only be good for everyone. Welcome to London!

Chris
