Call to Arms : Nov. 4, Shoulder up your Redcam

Hey Redheads,

I want to make a 0:45 - 2:00 minute long video about Tuesday's events. This is a personal non-profit video.

After voting in the morning, I will arm myself with the Red and a set of Nikons and shoot several polling locations around Los Angeles. People, signs, lines, faces, the day..

This is a historic election and we all need to document it, not only for the sake of democracy and accountability, but because of how high these stakes are.

I'm looking for Red shooters across the country who can FTP me clips of 'The Act of the Vote' I'd love to see a diverse mix of locations so I need your help!!

Trim your fat and send no longer than 2 minutes worth of material. It can be one shot or several. Please though, for editing sake, I need at least 7 good seconds per clip.

Since my primary delivery will be Vimeo, Youtube, Revver, you can downrez the clips to h.264 or Pro-Res 1K files. Try to do as a little coloring as possible as well.

Everyone will be credited & I will do all the cutting.

DEADLINE for clips has to be Wednesday night. I'll have the cut finished by Thursday night / Friday morning.

Hmmm... Interesting. Maybe I'll swing by a few polling places if I have time. I know the news media will be out in full force anyway, but might be something different if we do a community effort from a more independent perspective.

I'm glad I don't have to stand in line... I already voted, mail-in. Judging by the long lines at early voting locations around here, I think it's going to be insane on tuesday.
