Hey guys,

This is my first post, but I've been reading the forums for well over a year. I hadn't joined because all the answers to questions I had were here if I looked hard enough, but now I have little problem..

We have two Build 16 cameras and they've been awesome, but recently one of our units is taking well over two minutes to boot. It tells me "Booting..." which is all fine, then the fan starts, then the fan stops, then sometimes the screen goes blank, then back to "Booting..." and then the process begins again.

Eventually the camera boots up, but twice in the last fortnight it has failed to boot (or rather, I have become impatient after two and half minutes and powered down and started again).

Any idea why this is? Once it has powered up it works great.

When the "booting . . ." message appears for more than a few seconds, I power down and back up again. Sometimes it takes a couple of takes.

It does eventually start, but if you put it next to our other unit and switch them on at the same time one unit starts fine, and the other does it little hanging routine.

For me it's not a problem, but if a client I've trained to use the camera is in the field and it fails to power up either on time or at all, they get panicky.

It's workable but I'm not wild about having a unit that has problems getting out of bed in the morning.

Would reloading Build 16 again make a difference do you think?

Ok well nevermind, once the camera is up and running theres no problem (except the usual little tiny bugs) but thanks guys, let's hope the next build fixes it.
