Still too much high. It was possible to buy one of these for 1000-1500 a few months ago.

In perfect restored condition you could expect to spend about $5k per lens in this series. 135mm and less standard lengths go for a little more. That said, we just purchased a used 135mm in pristine condition, had it checked out and passed, but after it was taken apart it was determined that the internal threading was deteriorated because theses older lenses, before 1998 or so, are not strong enough to carry the weight of a clamp-on matte box, and the weight has damaged the threads. It cost us an additional $500 to have that fixed.

Also, back focus is a HUGE issue that cannot be viewed with the naked eye and neither can distortion. A professional needs to inspect all lenses before purchasing or selling and projected to look for distortion, proper focal adjustment and color aberration.

Stacey at Birns & Sawyer is great and my first recommend for lens repair and fair, honest evaluation.

I could have some interest on this lenses.
Let me know if you can make better offer.

Do you a 20mm to sale.

Best regards

Raphael

As everything from this seller. He's not at ebay anymore. REDuser is his new market actually. Why do you think so?

T2.1 Lenses getting more expensive, it's all because of RED ONE come to the world,
