There are few projects in the planning state... I know few DP's that have cameras on order; you will see some good footage from India soon...

Hello,

A few random questions that came to mind while reading this thread...How are the markets in India for Independent Film projects...How does your system work in terms of finance? Is it mainly private investors or State Subsidies that sustain your industry...And what types of Western Import Films are popular and work over there? Cencorship issues? ANy information would be of interest to get a glimpse at this facinating center of creativite productivity.

Thanks very much,

D.D.

Hi Gagan,

We will have a RED One in Mumbai in a couple of weeks. I would love to explore synergies.

PM me if you are interested. I am currently in the San Franscisco Bay Area.
