  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

User Manual IMS Conversion for RED One camera

Erik has said on another thread that he was not working on such a solution. If my memory serves me well, he had requested some technical drawings from P+S and received a cold shoulder.

There are some rumors that the other smart EOS mount guy (sorry, I am crap at remembering names) is talking with P+S. But that is just rumors.

one question please !

why the 18381 Nikon F mount does not work with the Nikon AF lenses ?
Note: Do not use Nikon AF lenses with this mount. The lens may =
not release without damage! :umm:

it's possible tu use a Nikon AFD lenses with the 23499 Nikon F Professional mount for geared lenses ? :help:

Thanks

Both Birger and Andy Lenisak suggested they are considering making their mounts to work with IMS. Im hoping this will work out.

Andy just wrote a few days ago that the IMS is on his roadmap.

Birger has received an IMS mount from Sanjib and is looking into it these days.

My understanding is that IMS being an open standard, it can be used by other parties than P+S.
