Extracting audio from multimple R3Ds

Hi. I received a RED Drive with 1 hour of 4K footage. I am transcoding to DigiBeta (with REDcine) but they want to use the audio that was recorded on camera. However they turned the QT proxy setting off on the camera, so i don't have any QTs to extract the audio from.

So what do i do? I could create proxy files in REDalert one by one, but we´re talking about a lot of files here.

Any ideas?

I don't think Red Alert needs the proxies... so just use RedRushes like Tico suggests. Everything should convert fine.

BUt can i choose to only render the audio with red rushes? I thought i had to choose some kind of video file size too.

Try doing a 1/8th rez debayer, no crop, no scaling with Output set to QuickTime "none." Just for kicks. It might just work.
