Help Upgrading to Build 16

I am currently shooting in Serbia documentary about post war situation in Belgrade.

My camera was working for 8 days strait when I decided to do 4k 16:9 rez on BUILD 15 and it was doing fine until I needed to change power supply from the mains to the battery power. I swiched camera off and on again but my LCD Screen would not boot up. It continued to be black. I called RED and find out that one of the possibilities to solve the problem could be that I needed to upgraded the camera software in order to eliminate the problem.
I downloaded BUILD 16 and successfully instoled version Bild 15 2.2.8 but camera for some reason would not do black shading. “Recording error: INT” has cum up evry time I tried to perform that operation.

Anybody any idea what can I do to work around this problem?

I would try going back to Build 15 2.2.5 and make sure everything is working again. If it is working then, re-do the upgrade to 15 2.2.8. Don't do a black shade in 2.2.8. From there, install Build 16 release and then do your black shade.

Once you upgrade to Build 16, you can not go back to Build 15.
