This is a little project I co-directed and shot for a co-worker who does comedic parodies of songs (like Weird Al Yankovik). We threw this together in about 10 hours of photography and about 12-15 hours of post. The entire production had a budget of about $150, a crew of 5, and was made on a complete whim.

The song, "I'm Everything" is a parody of Michael Bulbe's "Everything". We decided to parody his music video as well. I hope you enjoy it, we definitely enjoyed making it.

Lovely, very funny.

Looking with a technical eye I'd say it's too desaturated, but if that's the look you guys went for, it's OK.

It's just for us that know that RAW files provides a desaturated result that it may look like it was not graded...

Anyway, good job.

In the Michael Buble video, the look there is very desaturated, so this was intentional. While the Buble video was a little more contrasty, we decided to go the opposite and went for less contrast in the scene. 95% of the look was achieved in-camera, and in fact, I did very little grading in post (its probably fair to say that I didn't grade at all, since I really only touched 4 or 5 shots in order to match others).

Check out the original Buble video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPUJIbXN0WY

I'm glad you all enjoyed it...

It almost did... We actually were shooting a couple of pick-up shots on Wednesday at Lumenas on the PL mount while I waited for their machinist to get in and extract the stripped screw. It all worked out with impeccable timing.
