Just wanted to post a still from our Showtime show for Tracey Ullman.

This is our director/Stedicam operator on his custom Segway with a RED for a musical number.

I Love This Thing It Is So Awesome.

definitely one of the coolest things i have ever seen

indierentals has one of these, eric had it at cinegear, it is a lot slicker though....who wired that red anyway, looks like a nightmare to me...there are many ways to get the camera sexier for steadicam studio work...just one mans opinion, but i agree it looks like fun.

Stedi wiring

Stedi wiring

Kosmos, Please help us make the wiring better. Most of the wiring are for multiple sound receivers for 2 channels (we record to DIVA also but Network requires sound on the r3d files also) and we also have video transmitters.

But any advice would be great.

Hey Pyelot,
Where can I buy "Pole assembly", I need to mount my arm instead of wearing my whole vest on Segway.

Segway Mount

Segway Mount

I will get you the detailed info about the stedi mount. The sad thing is that it is expensive. First there is the "Thigh drive" that was developed for the AUDI factory in Europe so workers could carry parts around the factory using their thighs and have their hands free.
Then the mount replaces the fender on one side and provides a pole for a garfield mount. This adds about 12,000 bucks to the cost of the Segway.

Thanks P.
I just need pole and mount, I built my thigh drive with two 6" muslin grip ($49 Each) on front bar (work for me)
