Really good news that Angenieux 70-210 mm f/3.5 FD holds focus throughout the zoom.

Also there were other Canon EF lenses that I tested here holding focus throughout the zoom

but this was the first manual lens that did it nicely. For example Nikkor 17-35 mm AF/D ED is not good

for that job at all. The tests are continuing in next days with Angeniux 35-70 mm f/2.5-3.3 FD and

finishing on the weekend with a sneak peak at the latest Leica M lenses like

LEICA NOCTILUX-M 50 mm f/0.95 ASPH, LEICA SUMMILUX-M 21 mm f/1.4 ASPH and LEICA SUMMILUX-M 24 mm f/1.4 ASPH.

Stay tuned.

Is it possible to convert these Angenieux Zoom lenses to PL mount ? looks as though the Iris gear may be difficult to move.

thanks,

Had this lens for a while on epic.

Its a a very unique piece of glass. Creamy but sharp. The look is gorgeous!
