Will be much appreciate if anyone can send me your Red logo in Adobe Illustrator file format . We was thinking to print Red logo in our T shirt for feature film movie shot with Red Cam.

Pls see file attached .

hi yuen,

you would violate the copyright without the permission of red.

there are t-shirts in the red.com store

greets!
martin

Printing copyrighted material does not violate any copyright law. Making money from it does.

Hi !

Martin . Thanks for your advise .
Just to make myself clear . We are not making money just to print the t-shirt . Just that we are proud of the making movies with Red One camera . Just like to share the '' making of '' the movies with others .

Yuen. Sorry if i sounded a bit harsh - just don't want anyone to fall foul of Mr Jim there.

All the best with the film, keep us all posted about the progress, always look forward to see what guys and gals are doing with the camera.

Andrew.

Ahh! So I can distribute mp3s as long as I don't charge for it?

Sorry, but copyright is exactly what it says. It reserves the right to make copies to the rights holder.

Sorry, I shouldn't have been so general. I was referring to Fair Use:

http://www.copyright.gov/title17/92chap1.html#107

which allows printing just about anything for nonprofit personal use.

mp3s are covered under the DMCA.
