Popular in the EU. Arri Media uses them, as does CSC in New York for the D-21 and decks.
They DO look sexy at first, although...
unlike an A&J or Calzone hard case, they dent fairly easily and they are hard to clean and remove stickers from, and end up looking pretty shabby is a fairly short time.

Love em. Got a bunch of em. They are lighter than plywood and fiberglass cases, they do dent, but I'd rather dent and prevent a breach where as an anvil style case gets a hole poked in it.
