Does anyone know of a good way to get power from the Red's 12V out to the power connector of the AJA downconverter? Any good cable makers out there, have you done any of these yet? I think it's important to get one of these for a Steadicam rig. Any ideas are super appreciated.

I don´t know of any where you live. But i can confirm that it works great. Its hard to get the custom AJA power connectors so you need to cut the cable and use the one you have.

You probably also want a wireless focus control at the same time, use the output on the batteryplate. It was very unstable when we used both 12V outputs on the camera.

I had my cables made at Abel Cinetech in Burbank. They had all the connectors in stock and it works great. Give them a call.
