  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED 4300 is ready to ship

Wow! You guys are rocking it... very happy for the batch behind ours. Can't wait to have two more REDs come November now.
 
Front page ticker getting fixed. Big Jon will update his sticky. We start shipping this group in about a week. Same as with other groups, we will ship in order of payment received within the delivery group. Don't worry, we made sure we have enough cameras to support this big group so we are ready to fulfill orders pretty quickly once we start shipping.

This is my first post (because this is the first time I feel I have something to say, I always get my answers before asking questions otherwise) - I must have been waking my whole neighbourhood at 5 in the morning here! I feel pretty healthy, but my heart almost gave out on me when I read this mail.

So with my first post, I would love to thank the whole RED team, I love ya`ll! I don´t even have to punch the keyboard to write, I just put my hands down on it, and my pulse does the job for me - imagine how my first takes with the camera is gonna be! #4127, I can´t wait! :biggrin:

so if i would order a red one package at red store now, how long must i wait before it is delivered to me?
 
I wonder if and when RED are going to start selling *upgraded* RED Ones.

Or the future is a Scarlet & Epic world? :red_bandana:
 
Is the new PL Lock Ring included in this new batch?

Our first camera is in this batch and our second one should be in the next batch.
We just got confirmation of a big job starting in about 6 weeks and thought I would have to find a rental camera,but now it's all systems go.
Can't wait.

I've got an email out on this as well, but as I have yet to hear back, I thought I'd try this thread as it seems to be getting a quicker response.

Are the accessories ready to ship with this batch of cameras as well? Specifically the Red Drives and the 7" LCD?

For my order, it wouldn't make much sense to get the camera without them, as I would not have a working camera. this would be especially frustrating if I had to sit on an unusable camera body for a couple of months until the drives and LCD's are available.

Check Big Jons Delivery Schedule. Had these same questions last night. Took the plunge on the 7" LCD and this morning had a look at that thread
"LCD RED PRO (7.0") - No longer on backorder and currently shipping"

This sure puts a hold on people asking a premium for their cameras or reservation for sale. Seems like RED #4505 is right around the corner now.....we're ready.:holloween:

I didn't think I could get any better news.....then I saw this. Looks like someone just lit the candle.
 
we are shipping pro 7 inch LCD's with orders now and drives should begin shipping with new orders in this batch. if you have questions about backorders feel free to send me an email at brianb@red.com and i will help you out.
