Unfort my cam has been on the shelf since feb. Now my birger is actually in the post I need to upgrade from build 14 to 17.

I read that to insall 17, you need 16 installed, and to install 16 you need 15 installed. Is this correct? I have to do 3 installations?

How about black shading, do I need to do it just the once after 17, or 3 times, one after each build?

Thanks

When I did it I only did one balck shading. as long as you are not shooting
in between you should be fine. and yes you need to upgrade to 15 then 16
then 17 since there are significant changes from 15 to 16 and you can not roll back. 15 prepares the camera for 16. you can go back to 16 if 17 is not
right for you but once at 16 you must stay there.

thanks phaz. hopefully by the time we get to build 25 you wont have to install the previous 10 builds first...lol

do black shading at the very end...

thanks Jarred, will do....

Just a heads up for anyone dumb enough to make the mistake I did :

Don't download the release build of 15 from the support page (version 2.2.5) and install that. When you download 16 you get another version of build 15 (version 2.2.8) within that package, which is the one that needs to be installed before 16. You cant upgrade from 2.2.5 but you can from 2.2.8.

Lol - not that ANYONE but me will still have build 14 on their camera.... I got a lot of catching up to do now.

Sorry Martin, I'm already on build 17 now.

On the plus side it all seems to be working. Just need to get the mount on tomorrow hopefully.
