i ve got a question, i shot at 4k 2.1 and i m planning to export at 1920x1080 at 1.75 (16.9 hdtv )ratio with crop setting and fit height ( for no black bars ), in redcine it's very simple and automatic, but i want to do it in redrushes and i don't know what to put in my crop settings, i m planning to use draft mode for the debayering.

thx for any answers !

Just choose "Fit Height", it won't squeeze, but crop automatically.

'thx for the answer, but it wont crop to my 1.78.1 ratio. i can be clearer : i shot at 4k 2.1 with 1.78.1 guides and now i want to resize it to 1920x1080 1.78.1 with no black bars and get rid of the extra left and right images(due to the 2.1 ratio) i have. on redcine i choose 1.78
guideline then i do a crop and then i resize to 1080 with fit heigt, so now i want to do the exact same thing in redrushes.

hope i ve been clearer

I've read both of your posts, and it's just like nomad said. Let me try to restate:

In REDrushes, click on the RESIZE button.

Check the "scale" box.
Set preset to 1920x1080.
Set width to 1920
Set height to 1080
Set Fit/Stretch" to "Fit Height"

This will cut off the left and right of your frame, giving you a 1.78 image.
