Can "Red" company do something ?

About the Redcine, I can't install, even many people can't either.

I think there should be something wrong with the program. Is it possible the "red" software team work out a solution for this ?

I feel very frustrated for this !

I think the problem is only for Redcine since RedAlert and Redrushes both OK to me.

What I did is only download the application, extract to dmg, and then open it , put the redcine.app into Application folder and double click it.

the screen blank for 2 sec, then return to the original desktop. After that, I found the Redcine folder in "Library" with only "Setting" folder inside.

TRY to remove anything you find in your computer named redcine
Especially in Library folder ,empty trash , restart , run it again ? maybe :excl:

Try going into Disk Utility and running Check Permissions...

This sounds like a permissions issue, possibly related to execute bits on the binary or similar.

Also look for messages in the log files -- check the "Console" program under /Applications/Utilities.

If using only one display on your Mac, make sure it's connected to the outermost port (closer to the side of your Mac Pro), probably labeled "1".

that sounds like you installed it on a non-admin account

try the same process you used but as an administrator and all your problems go away

I am the only user of my mac and I don't need to select account to login !
So I think I am using the administrator account ? right ?

If I post the log here , can you guys help ?

My solution was to install on the admin account and all was well. Not so with others though.

If nothing has worked so far, you can try a new install of OSX, and then a new install of Redcine.
