Canon 10-22mm and Canon 75-300mm with IMS on RED.
Andy Lesniak was already testing those lenses before on his EF dumb EOS mount on RED.
My test is about IMS Canon EOS "dumb" mount on RED.
Also I'm not going to talk about those lenses and all this sort of tests and reviews you could google and find it online.
This test is about IMS on RED and its flexibility that everybody is asking here.
So how you can work with "dumb" Canon EOS mount with IMS on RED (?)
First, you would need your Canon DSLR as a little helper
to set and lock aperture of your lens for a scene that you are shooting.
So take your Canon DSLR, point to the scene... and make a shot.
Second, swap your Canon lens from DSLR and then swap it on IMS Canon EOS mount on RED.
Now you are ready to shoot with your desired Canon EF lens on RED.
If you need additional exposure fix it with adding of ND filter(s) or Circular Polarizer filters (screw or MB).
Be aware that this footage is not a perfect one.
Also it doesn't have any artistic intention or a technical perfection
because there are some little glitches during zoom and panning...etc.
Sorry.
At the end it was just dirty and fast test about this IMS possibility with Canon EF lenses on RED.
HD 720 footage 83.7 MB>>>double click to download>>>
