So

I'm spending the days updating my info and creating new webpages... Takes time

Here's first attempt @ a RED reel.

The images are from productions that have been doone end to end @ Vulture, none from all the productions where we've delivered only parts of the production.

Thoughts?

Very nice images. A lot of those where the ones I liked from your other post.

Not sure about the music, though. Maybe mix it up and include some track variety to accentuate the qualities of your shots. Possibly something more classical with the slow-mo nature shots? Is that too cliche? Or change up the editing pace and possibly use some super-imposed transition fades?

Anyway, just my rambling 2 cents. Good work, Gunleik!

This remind me, my learning curve is abyssal, beautiful work Gunleik.

Cheers
Brice
Ps I like the string bass part

the shot at 00:16 going down the road is unbelievable! How did you do it?

As to the driving shot, it's a timelapse from a car.
I have a stupid little personal project I call Highway the Norway....

Cheers and thanks again!

Gunleik

the camera looks to be much higher than a normal car mount, and the shot is super smooth. Did you do anything to it in post?

Some really beautiful and enviable shots in there.

I agree that the drivelapse looks really smooth.

I also noticed, in the first cut, that the opening helo shot of the frozen lands looks a lot like the "Hoth" planet from Empire Strikes Back. IMDB lists "Hardangerjøkulen Glacier, Finse, Norway" as a location for that movie.

Maravilloso!

Too much sex? Naaa, not a bad thing anyway.

I like it! Like the sound track... like the shots... like the editing... like the bookend heli sound effects. :)

Thanks!

So.... Do you guys think there's too much sex in there...

Are you thinking this because the shots are mostly clumped together? That thought crossed my mind for a second and I was wondering if they might play better interspersed throughout the reel and then suddenly there was that "someone-needing-help-to-dry-off" shot and I forgot everything.

Thanks!

So.... Do you guys think there's too much sex in there...

Not too much.... but I would cut the shot of her putting on the hose sitting on the pipes and the super fast kissing shot because it's not that sexy and the slow kiss later is so much better. IMHO.

Otherwise very cool G. Steadicam in the car for the road shots?

Lovely images Gunleik - very good work!

Very nice Gunleik

Love the undercranked country road in low light. Are those headlights illuminating the road signs or is the sun setting behind you. I would love to know your settings. Silky smooth. Great work.

Thanks again...

The cam was strapped onto some bags in the passengerseat, That's it... :)

Strapped four ways onto a pelican bag . Te lights are from the headlights.

Settings. Don't really remember, but i think I ended up using 4 or 5 frames a second eventually.

The car is actually laughably small... More like a mini than a SUV, but the camera was sorta about at the same height as my head.

I'd Guess it's a 35mmm superspeed MK II

Photographically I love the look of the girl on the pipes. I agree it's not super sexy, but boy is well lit, and well composed, I wouldn't dream of cutting it.

How did you light her, her skin looks fantastic!?

Nice work man!
