  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Which one was the first film shoot in Uk with Red One?

I shot my filme on the 26th and 27th of April of 2008. Just wondering which film was the first one to be shot here.

Hi Guys,

We did the UK mine shoot for Lionshead/Microsoft on November 20-21st 2007 on Rory Hind's RED #67 and Demolition #8.

The first proper all UK feature for theatrical release was Lesbian Vampire Killers (DoP David Higgs), which started shooting on May 19th 2008 for a 6 week shoot. It's released March 2009 in the UK by Momentum Pictures.
 
Hey Jonathan, I thought you might have something to do with the first. I met you and Rory at the Apple Store Demo you did last December, i remember the stills you showed of the kid and the mum playing the x-box - i was quite impressed, and couldn't believe how heavy the full kit is.

You were shooting LVK in Luton at Luton Hoo if i'm correct which is about 5 min away from me . . . . . wish id known. Hope the shoot went well, i'll be looking forward to hearing about it in the build up to the release.

Bruno, we haven't released our film yet, my gradist and sound designer have it at the moment should be done really really soon. It was a 20 min thing but now i have done a savage cut down to 15. Should have it at SD on DVD mid October.

I have 2 music videos already booked for the RED in December/Jan when mine arrives and 3 shorts i've written all ready to go -- and i've been in Pre on a feature for a while which is now being done on RED, its a manic few months ahead i cant wait.
