Hello red Users.
I finally had access to a fast internet line and did upload that 4'40'' clip on Vimeo.
Result of playing around with the redone.
No color correction except a slight S curve in redcine and the saturation pushed a bit.
No brightness or contrast apply.
That was shot this summer in toscany build 15 and 16; 4k and 2K for the 120Fps footages (almost all the insects staff).
Some really lowlight condition on wild pigs; I was at 1000 iso and could see almost nothing on the LCD.
I wish I could share some more serious thing, but I'm still under DNA
Anyway, hope you'll enjoy that one

For those who wonder what's Gaïa mean, I invite you to consult the wikipedia link

That's pretty wild, Brice. Beautiful. Courageous dogs! BTW... the titles should read "ITS" (no apostrophe) when referring to "DIVERSITY" and "GENIALITY".

Like Curran says, the mantis' shots are awesome!

Thanks for sharing.

Brice,

Amazing!

Needed a faster lens for some shots.

In that case some budget faster photo lenses could help like a

Voightlander Nokton 35mm f/1.2 Canon 50mm FD f1.2 or Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.0.

But than you would need IMS on your RED.

BTW, my long ago promised test with Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.0 (year 1982) is coming tonight.

Stay tuned.

Thank you guys
I will take your words as an "encouragement" to continue doing my homework, my learning curve is so huge.
Sanjin I used the nikon 85mm F1.4 for the lowlight footy, and I was wide open.
I can imagine the benefit of a lens opening at 1. Lucky you!
And my apologies to the Anglosaxon for my mistake to "ITS" hé hé.
I'll change that soon. I want to upload another version.
I don't know why but when I arrived in H264 format all appear a bit wached out. I went in to the sequence and did the trick of the transparency with a straight alpha, it did increase my black level, but no luck when it arrived on vimeo server.

Terrific piece, Brice! I enjoyed it as much as anything I've seen filmed on RED so far.

Makes me long for the completion of the Birger Nikon mount so I can go ahead and get my camera to use with my Nikon zooms.

This is some of the best footage I have seen from a Red One camera. concrats to you Brice. Really enjoyable.

Brice,

This was a great reminder of my time in Tuscany. Nice work.

any chance for 1080 download link?
I can put a download link, but it's going to take me time. The 1280*720 H264 version is 500 MO. A 19020*1080 will be much biger.
Again, thank you every body, and to my Toscan neighbour, signore Corrado Silveri, hope one day will have the oportunity to meet in Toscany.

wonderful images.

magic stuff.

Hé hé it's exactly the point.
we need to take some time with the good tool to observe the passengers of Gaïa properly.
David, I love your dogie, remind me a dog I had.
