Obviously, you can pick and choose what ever package you want. Here's my offer based on the premium offers I've received thus far (up to $7000). We'll sell whatever package you want for a $3000 premium assuming you'll let us hire (the package) for a period of 5 weeks at no charge. The shoot would start mid October and last through November. I realize this is somewhat unconventional, however, it's a great way to get the camera at a very low premium.

5 weeks worth of free rental and you get paid $3000 too? Seems like if someone orders a camera now they'll get it by January... a person would have to be real desperate to pay you $3000 and also let you have their camera for 5 weeks free. Heck if this works out for you let me know... we have 2 more cameras coming soon and would love the free money too.

lets say you rent out that package for 1000/day @ 3 day week/ 9 day month..

so thats 9000.00 (for the month) + the extra week @3000.00 = $12,000

+ 3000.00 premium..

so basically.. someone is giving up $15,000 for a camera that they could get in jan.
 
Better yet, get that $7000/month with operator guy and make him wash your car and bring you lunch every day! :w00t:
 
Planning on purchasing the basic red package with evf, need to know about most cost effective accessories,sound ,lighting,tripod et al.... suggestions?

What does the it cost? I have not seen it in the webshop.

No, not possible to order. Initially, orders were taken for it long ago, before the 18-50 lens was known to exist. I find it curious that a camera reservation in the 3000 range would also have this lens on pre-order. But maybe so, depending on when RED pulled it from the store, I don't recall. IIRC, anyone who placed an order for the 18-85 lens should have received a reservation number for that lens.

Not that it matters anyway. We still don't know for sure what the final price of the lens is going to be and when it will be available, who will have priority, etc..
