I don't recall Canon doing the teaser-style DSLR marketing. If they're taking a page out of the RED handbook, then it's too bad they skipped over the part where they interact with customers.

Well they better do something to protect their reputation with Nikon coming out with great cameras once again. The 5D design has been in dire need of replacement for over a year now. Nikon has done these teaser ads before, but Canon had a monopoly for the past few years and didn't have to do anything to promote their cameras. Now things are different.
