Is anybody else having problems with Apple Color Crashing with the New ProApp update?

For the past few days i have been colour grading my RED short at 2K but at every turn it keeps on crashing - wouldn't even open without crashing to begin with. I upgraded the proapp so i could use some of the updates i needed but . . .

I've managed to get it to work a little, i've graded and now rendering, got a prores version of the files out but it crashed as I double clicked on the file tab losing all the connections to send back to FCP Doh! So its telling me to render out the files again, pain but they are already done. I've filed a report but its a real drag on my workflow.

Im rendering out some Uncompressed 10 bit quicktimes at the moment and it crashes everytime I save and it has corrupted others - crazy.

Anybody else having problems? Fixes?

BTW. This is what i'm getting: All i did here was click on Add all to the render queue and it crashed.

Whats your frame rate? If I remember correctly the last time I used Color I tried it with 24fps and it didn't work properly so I conformed it to 23.98 and it worked great. I was on the version prior to yours and was using UC 10-bit 1080 the entire way through...just a thought.

It was in 25p. PAL land.

It worked fine for a long while, did a basic grade on the same files about a month ago no problems. Was busy filming something for Canon between then and now - came back and updated. I know other people have been having the similar issues over on Apple's forums but no joy.

Now i'm in stressed land.

I remember at one point I had a problem with the new version of Quicktime and had to jump back to the older version-this was 3-4 months ago now so I can't really remember exactly which version it was, but I do remember using a program called Pacifist to uninstall the new version and replace it with the older version.
Let me know if you have anymore questions. Im on 10.5 btw...

I have pacifist and have done that before when that problem was around. Haven't tried it with this -- it's a good idea i'll try that later today and see if it works.
