Hey everyone,

We're proud to present the latest 'shot on RED' video from directors Felix and Paul (www.felixandpaul.com). Canadian band Mobile's song "Killer" was given a sci-fi treatment - a little Blade Runner, some Akira, among other influences.

Check it out here: http://www.felixandpaul.com/videos/Killer.mov

DOP: Philippe Roy
Animation and Compositing: Paul Raphael, Josh Sherrett

We were working with a budget of about $40,000 for the video. The directors Felix and Paul do a good portion of the post work themselves, but they've got a great team of guys aiding the process - names coming soon!

I've heard this song on the iTunes radio. You must be proud ! Nice job !

great work ....is that graded with magicbullet??????

amazing job! best music video i have seen here so far.
how long was the production and post production ??

greetings eric

40k for that entire video including creative fees and post?

Yup. 40K from start to finish. The budgets for music videos here in Canada are usually pretty small.

how long was the production and post production ??

Prep was a few weeks, the directors had done some previz and early background work. The actual shoot was one day and then post production lasted about 2 months. The post would've went quicker but the directors and their team were splitting their time across multiple projects.

As for the grading, they handled the bulk of the work in after effects - not sure if they went to do a final grade in a post-suite or did most of it in AE.
