Hey guys, I just spent 3 days shooting in central Washington for a music video for Damien Jurado. The video is directed by Matt Daniels. We have one more day of shooting this coming week. Here are some BTS photos.

We shot with the Red 18-50 zoom as well as MKII Superspeeds and a Lensbaby all with natural light.

Photos by Matt Daniels.

ps- we really were in the middle of nowhere, but another group of people had shot a music video on Red at the rundown motel we stayed at a few days before. this camera is everywhere.

Man! Damien Jurado is one of my fav living songwriters... Such a pure voice.

Can't wait to see some footage.

I just found out the video will be airing on MTV2 so I will post a link as soon as its online.

edit- this video was the first time we used Crimson. red rushes-1k prores proxies-final cut-Crimson-redcine-2k dpx's in after effects. worked great!

i saw damien here in columbus last week and was talking to him about this video. he said he'd just seen it and really liked how it turned out. i can't wait to see it!

Ah, yes. Good ol' Damien. Seen him a few times with Jeremy Enigk. Always a great show. I can't wait to see this. Please post!

This new Damien Jurado album is excellent! "Last Rights", what a brilliant song.

Looks like "Caskets" will air this Thursday on MTV's Subterranean. It should be on MTV.com at the same time but may be not viewable outside the US for a couple days. It will be posted on Vimeo probably by Monday.
