I'm going to use a bellows with my Red for Macro work and I need to source the mechanical connection part of the lens to then machine to fit the bellows. If it was any still camera I always just buy an extension tube and adapt it.

Any ideas.

I'm in the UK

Since you're in the UK I'd suggest contacting Les Bosher.

So have I (about something completely different) and either the e-mail bounces or he just doesn't answer.

Search PL mount on Ebay. There are cheap chrome plated brass PL mount adapters for sale there. About $60 US. They ship from india.

Cheers,

Nick

================

Must to mashined 0.3 mm - !!!! , It is not PL mount - it is only peace of metal !!

I agree with the PL Mounts from India. I just purchased 10 of them for US$65 each and they were all 0.02 to thick so machining was required. I have alerted the manufacturer but had no response. But given the competitions at over $250 then i would say it is still a good buy.

As for Les Bosher, I hope you get a response. Despite offering him a significant amount of work i haven't even the courtesy of an email.
