GPS/touchscreen controlled mini chopper! You gotta watch the videos of how bad ass this little guy is. Id love to strap a scarlet on him and fly him out the window of our office overlooking Union Sq!

Only holds 500g though so a Nikon D90 would be too much (620g), not sure how much scarlet is expected to come in at but I'd bet it weighs more than that.

unfortunately in Manhattan, it's illegal to fly mini chopper, I have futaba controlled 2 horse power mini and it's gas powered and range 1/2 mile diameter.
go cross the river, you can fly anything.

many state has strange law.
In manhattan, there is so many 19 centuries old law still exist that I can't imagine.

example:
It is illegal for a woman to be on the street wearing “body hugging clothing.

The penalty for jumping off a building is death.

A person may not walk around on Sundays with an ice cream cone in his/her pocket.

It's illegal to shake a dust mop out a window.

etc.

Prices range from around 15000$ for the basic version (no gimmicks) to 26000$ with GPS and HD video camera.
Optional stuff like video goggles, infrared and night vision will add another few 1000.
I know a guy who flies ultralight planes. So I can get my aerial stuff for a few 100 bucks.
But the hovering thingy's nice though. Don't know what camera they include.
