Remote Power Switch

I will be manufacturing a remote power switch using miniature precision Solenoid operated at 12V from power tap. The fixed cost is about $3k and variable cost is about $200 per unit. The more I make, the less expensive they are. Let me know if you are interested. Assuming 10 units, the cost would be $410 each. The solenoid support arm will be precision machined aluminium anodised to dark red colour :devil: The assembly mounts on top left 19mm rod. You supply push button switch (or other method of trigger).

Time to availability ex Sydney (Australia) about 4~5 weeks.

Yep, that's precisely the reason I need a solenoid to power the camera up first :biggrin:

Not everyone has the top rods. People with 3rd party top handles, for example. Also, most people in North America won't be using 19mm rods.
