Wondering if anyone has any experience in setting up a Mac workstation for RED edit work and utilizing a KVM extender that locates the CPU and storage say a 100 feet from the keyboard/mouse and displays? Just curious what particular issues may be different with the RED in a case like this than any other type of KVM extender for an edit suite.

I've run across these vendors that have products that look like they'd fit the bill;

Any and all insight or inspired knowledge would be much appreciated,
 
Also check Gefen- good industrial strength extenders and very good service.
