Its not 24fps, its 8! Sorry, I wanted to look around, and the water was moving too fast, causing a little phasing? at any speed. Vimeo encoded the crap out of it too. There`s a fly that flies on and then off screen (top right), as soon as the footage starts, but it may have got vimeo`d. Its the only time I`ve taken my R1 out of the house in six weeks (when I got it, unbelieveable as that sounds even to myself..). I did shoot the moon from my window. I`d have delayed delivery if I`d known about the lack of Red Raid supply, can`t justify the fuel to take it out till then, or rent it out as I`d like. I`ll check the meta data out in redcine for settings, but I expect I used something like 1/2000 shutter + 500iso, don`t know about the rest. Don`t have a tripod, so I used a bean bag and rizla packets to fine tune the view. Encoded to wmv for vimeo upload, but it looked very different on my imac compared to my vista laptop, no doubt gamma differences. The shots convinced me the EVF isn`t essential (although a cheaper alternative might be), and have now acquired the 18-50mm instead, which I have just pointed at a fire place actually. All the shots came from the other side of the river, which was pretty wide, so some softness was expected from this amateur, but the results were better than expected I guess. Great camera I guess.

That's annoying, Dont you have enough CF cards?

It get really tedious filming your own house over and over huh! Ill need to think about ordering loads of CF's, maybe also one of those CF card downloaders to store in the field.

CF cards arent very interesting to me, I have one.. and, I wouldn§t know, I only filmed the moon once, Ive been busy+300mm lenses arent optimal for indoors
