  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RedRushes error

At my MacBookPro crashes redalert when I use the crop function and render it with the render window to quicktime. If I render via terminal it runs, but crops false. Redrushes does the same mistake. I want to render via redrushes 4k2:1 material to 1:1,85 croped and scaled to HD720 quicktime for my offline files, so that i have my 1:1,85 frame in the HD720 QT file. Interesting thing is that on 8core I rendered 2,35:1 framed material to 1744X2048 dpx with the crop and scale function in stretch mode and worked fine....

Can you email me the command line you used for RA and for RR?
(use copy command in RA's render window and export script in RR)

It's something strange with the 8-core VS MacBook.

Answer of Deanan was that when you choose quarter debayer the first crop to 3788x2048 for 1,85:1 is the resolution too high and its not working. I will give that a test on a higher debayer, but not usable for me to generate the rushes for the offline, because the render times are too long.
With Redcine its working fine on the macbook..... so I can generate the rushes with the right 1,85:1 aspect in the 720p25 frame in my quicktimes, but without audio... hope that they dont need the primary tone transported.
will give a test with that on a 8core also....

cheers

Thanks Deanan!

Moving the files to the correct locations fixed the "error" message for me...
