I'm being thick - I don't get the joke. :umm:

EDIT: Just figured it out. I thought Rhizz was a female looking for some other supportive females on this testosterone drenched forum! At least that's how I read "finding other women members"

Well there is at least one female on this forum.... :whistling:

Macau = Asian LV

2nd back up place under RED flag in CHINA......

Nevada and Connecticut have some of the best incentives to base a business out of.

Beijing Olympics

Beijing Olympics

Beijing Olympics is recorded using hundreds of Sony cameras and broadcast using Sony studio systems.
Amazing. No other exotic cameras are found anywhere.
Have you noticed the simultaneous recording at normal speed and in slowmotion by same camera?
And notice the smooth transition from one mode to another, when broadcast.

Nevada Red

Nevada Red

What is the new business model for the Nevada property? If you are are indeed going into production or going to become a production facility I want in.

Congrats to the RED team on their new location.
It will be pleasure to stop by when in vegas... sounds delicious.
Mazal Tov !

As for the Olympics, i agree with our fire chief.
Heard it's almost all Panasonic P2s.

Other than that, Utah has the best snow on earth.

that will also host the annual RED FILM FESTIVAL for movies shot on RED. =)

That's an awesome idea! I'm sure there's already been talks of this, but does anyone know if anything official's ever been decided on this topic?

but PLEASE don't forget the 24 screen 4k digital projection theatre with stadium style seating.. that will also host the annual RED FILM FESTIVAL for movies shot on RED. =)

Orrrrrrrh.... maybe instead of a once per year film festival, a year-'round one-stop shop distribution point for shot-on-RED content? Anyone needing content comes to the RED distribution point, tells them what they need in the way of content etc., and previews what's available. Then the digital theatre, movie house, local TV station... whatever... buys a license for the content and RED takes a cut for converting the footage or program into whatever format is needed.

Could also work for stock footage or images. All-in-all, a nice symbiotic relationship between camera manufacturer and camera customer.

Of course, a film festival could still be useful in getting top quality content into wide distribution.

red in vegas? my fav camera company and my fav city. Now I'll have double the reason to go back each year. I used to bet on black, but now that red is coming, i'll never go black.

I'd also like to apply for a job, or unpaid internship?

I have the coolest idea. Howzabout letting the pioneering Red Owners and Red Users BUY those paving bricks to etch our names on to pave the sidewalks of Red Ranch. And maybe a "walk of fame" for each feature shot on RED?

...the horror...the horror

How about a DTV or satellite network dedicated to showcasing productions shot with the RED. What better way to sell your camera's than creating an entire tv network dedicated to showcasing them!
