Anyone Selling Rain Covers Yet?

We are looking for one as we are shooting in Kazakhstan where its 100 degrees at one point and 20 minutes later its pouring rain with no warning.

I know there are some in development and some prototypes floating around, just looking to buy one ASAP.

If there are no RED rain covers out yet, has anyone used a different one with good luck and compatibility?

I am sure you could retrofit a portabrace rain cover I would think a ike v55
cover would come close

Yeah, thats what I have been doing. Or the closest jacket or umbrella, but certainly not ideal or convenient.

Also, I tried the Camtrade.com website and it seems to need some work, there is no way to navigate anything and the homepage is a little baron. Someone else try it and let me know.

I tried that email and got a mailer-daemon failure notice. I thought maybe you meant it to be rene@camtrade.com and just forgot the T, but I got a failure notice from that too. Any advice?

I just got the Camrade cover, but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Rene responded quickly to my e-mails and even though it was shipping from overseas it got here in no time. It looks very well made and nicely designed, but will post pics when I get a chance to fit it on the camera.
