Klondike Contest Entry

I was cruising around the net and saw that Klondike was having a contest for a video submission with a $100,000 grand prize. Not wanting to be left out, I grabbed my camera and some friends and shot this the day before entries were due. I wish I had more time but overall, I am satisfied with the results.

I loved it (though the guy licking the goo up was a little gross when your trying to sell food), but the audio (dialog) was really hard to understand. Were you not able to boom up next to the actors? (it sounds like the mic was 10' away)

Thanks Macville, I agree with the grossness. I would make a terrible commercial director. Had no sound guy because of the short notice. We gaff taped the shotgun mic to the camera and shot them closely. The opening side angle shots are particularly bad because we were aiming them off to the side. Overall, I feel like I failed on the sound. My composer was busy and I had no one to sweeten it. I'm happy with the end product though.. thanks
