  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

ShotPut Red Edition Automates Media Offloading on Set

Anyone compared this against R3D Manager?

speed / safety / reliability

Yes indeed.

We use R3d Manager and are loving it, curious if anyone with R3d manager experience has acquired this and compared.

I just picked up shotput red yesterday, had a bit of a problem with it and using build 15 files (wouldn't transfer). But i posted on their forums and within a couple hours I had a software update. Now everything works fine, nice little piece of software, will def. go into production use on our next job. Haven't had a chance to work with R3D Manager yet tho.

My Sp is not recognizing my Red Drives... (CF are ok).

Shotput, verfication "contants": int. raid - 5:07min, ext. HD - 7:34min.

R3D Manager, checksum MD5: int. raid - 4:56min, ext. HD -12:36min.

Very impressive performance by Shotput...
