Hey guys, random question I'm sure someone will be able to answer with the quickness and make me look like an idiot, but here goes.

I have two computerts, (Mac quad core, top of the line in all ways, memory, ram etc.) running the exact same versions of the software (leopard, quicktime, redcine, codered etc.), but in redcine only one of the two computers will put out DPX files, the other keeps getting errors.. any ideas?

Well... if the hardware and software make-up is exactly the same and everything is adequately updated... I'd suggest you start by trashing the folder called "Redcine" in the offending Mac's /Library folder, then try again. If that doesn't work, then we'd need more info about your system's config to troubleshoot. Easier said than done.

I'm a former Apple Consultant Network member and (still) an Apple Developer Connection member (at least until next year), so feel free to PM me with Apple related issues if you think I could be of help.

Don't do Windows, though...

thanks for the help guys... Apperently, the problem is related to which monitor of the duel setup redicine is running on... as long as it runs on the main monitor and not the second one it works fine.... kinda weird...but at least I got it working... thanks for the help guys... Im sure jim and his ninja crack team will fix this someday soon. not a major issue tho!
