TC & Audio in SDI?

does anybody know if there is timecode and audio embedded in HD-SDI output of RED ONE?

Operational restrictions of Build 16 series firmware:

I´d check for AJA Converters or Blackmagic Mini Converters, i think they are able to embed audio.

I have no doubt this feature will be along shortly.. RED is really doing a good job of knocking down their list of things outstanding.

I agree completely. There are units available for embedding audio into the SDI signal from several sources, but there are 3 problems:
1. They cost money.
2. Red does not put out all 4 audio channels separately, so you still could not embed more than two signals.
3. You still would not have the timecode.

ah yes.... but you have TC out as well..... and could run it into whatever device you're capturing with.

Does anyone know - does the AJA iohd take timecode in via LTC in and embed that into the signal going out via Firewire?
