Hi!
Playing with the RED camera... which is just amazing.
Now to my question: is it possible to add some new user keys, and modify a bit how some of them function? It has been suggested before...
- first, after disabling the side record button, is it possible to make it into an additional user key? That would be great!
- secondly, how about the two brightness buttons on top of the LCD? I bet most of the users never touch those, as they leave the brightness pumped up to the maximum. Also, I noticed that user keys 3 and 4 are on the EVF only. Maybe these two can be 3 and 4 on the LCD instead (if they have that potential ability).
- very important: can we assign one button to toggle between the different view spaces? RAW, REDSpace and REC 709. Pressing it would simply show you the next, and so on. Maybe another button can toggle between the different metering options. The ability to just toggle between different choices would be simply amazing.
Anyway... let me know what you think. I believe having as many user keys as possible can only be for the best - helping us do our job quicker and better.
