  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Sunset in Sweden

thanks for liking the pics!

...my cam is frozen to 400 ASA sine B16 :)

i shot on a tripod - no filters (don't have any)
- can't remember the stop(s) - sorry

i can see if i could get you one of the sunset files
(if it's possible to break up a multi R3D sequence)
but that file would then be 2 Gigs...)

What is that red edge on the lighthouse:

Or on the trees:

And this weird effect inside the sun:

Both are in the first picture, none in the third.

Could it be that the lens was wide open on those with the problems, but on the "sweet spot" on the others?

Thanks for sharing!

These are the best RED stills I have ever seen.

Can you post the footage?

HI!
I downloaded yesterday the R3D file, but REDCINE cant open it. What is the problem??

It's Build 16 Footage... You have to download the latest version of RedCine on the Support Site of red.com

Btw: The Footage is just awesome, like to see more R3D files on your FTP :D

& which lenses do you use?

I really hate sweden, it´s simply perfect.

Feels like "local hero", nice!

Thanks for sharing!

Martin, yep, besides the purple spot those are optical side-effects.
but i think the lens performs quite nicely anyways!

n0LF, i used the red-zoom on all the shots...

Tom, that's a nice compliment! thanks.
i need some time to prepare some more footage...
did you mean r3d files or moving sequences in general?
