Hello All,

I was ask to do a shoot with the Milo Moco rigs recently.

I was worry about how to stop and start the REDONE.

Thanks to Curt's Origo from View Factor my problem was solved.

To my surprise, the batteries indicator was a bigger life saver.

It allow us to use a dual batteries adapter and still know when to change it without rebooting or missing a beat.

Not having to bring the RED down in between takes really save us time and drive space.

It cost only $110 plus cables, but it saved us thousand of dollars.

Thank You Curt

It's worth it's weight in gold for 3 reasons it's start stop abilites, it's roll / cut beep tone and also as a battery gauge. I'm using non-red batteries and it's much more accurate than the built in display.

That Master Prime looks so nice on the red...but yeah. can't wait for the origo. sorry to get OT, but what commercial is this for? and what handles are you using?

Just some home-brew handles while I'm waiting for ET to ship. The spot involved various monsters attacking Oscar De La Hoya - you can guess who wins that one.

Origo looks like a great product with many great features. If you are in need of a start-stop switch now, our Monstecine XL-Remote switch is shipping and runs on standard XLR audio cable for exceedingly long, cost effective runs. It's a very robust solution with record tally light for simple remote start-stop. Here's a link to photos and details.

Me too i orderd 3 months ago . and nothing but updates .:angry03:
updates , same like birger Senario:angry03:

Bassam, I don't think we're the same scenario as Birger but if you feel that way I'm sorry. We have been providing information as we receive it and manufacturing a product that works well and doesn't break in the field is sometimes not something you just throw together. You will receive an email from us either tomorrow or Monday at the latest confirming that your Origo (SN#55) is shipping on Tuesday.

Heres the schedule for deliveries....
1 - 30 Ship - 07/19/08
31 - 85 Ship - 07/22/08
85 - 150 Ship - 08/11/08 (or sooner)
150 - 250 Ship 08/15/08 (or sooner)

All orders from 150 on will be from stock and there will be no lead times.

Wow Matt you have really been working out hard since I saw you at NAB.

Nice loincloth do you find it keeps you cool on those hot sets? I should try that one, the speedo is a little constricting.

Can't wait to get my ViewFactor gear. It will really add a lot to my camera.

Looks like serial number #20 is making its way across the Pacific. Can't wait. Thanks Curt.

Matt, Are you using green Kino's for your greenscreen?

Yes, Super Greens. UNDENIABLE. But only if you have a setup where you can control green spill.

Are you interlacing them like us?

We do half and half.

It seem to work very well for control if we have enough distance from back ground to talents.

I agreed and confirmed completely.

I'll make sure we send out serial numbers tonight or tomorrow at the latest. You should be in the high 50's as you placed your order right around NAB. I'm off to the shop to make some more goodies :)

I know I'm not in the early orders, I only ordered recently because I was waiting for a reply for a longer than 30 feet cable. I still haven't received, an answer, but ordered anyhow so that I can hopefully get the Origo by August 15th as we have a helicopter shoot coming up and that would be very usefull.

Cheers,
Damien
