  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How long does RED battery lasts

Pawel posted at the same time as you did, Rob, and just turned K.B.'s 120 minutes into two hours, as in the same thing, as in the same battery - RED Brick, but you may have realized that already. There you go - words galore on a pretty straight-forward thread! :>)

Search accessories, etc. for alternatives, but beware if they start rambling on about nine volts and gaffer tape! Just joking.....

There are some other battery players, however. Check out "alternative batteries" and you should end up close to Able Cine's site... And if not, go directly to them.

Pawel! You resurfaced! Goodbye, Bond! It's 8:05 AM local time and I've been up all night waiting for my lost cat. Talk about good batteries! Good night!

Sorry, didn't see your cat on the bottom :ninja:

I'm getting in the neighborhood of 2 1/2 hours with Anton Bauer 140s recording to Red Drive running both LCD and EVF.

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo

Monday & Tuesday we were shooting a music video on Red. We spent all of day one on Steadicam. We only had the LCD and the Red Drive on the unit. We were getting roughly 90 minutes. With the charger and 4 Red batteries we were never short on power.

We were shooting 4K at 2:1 if that is of any help.
