  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Redalert or L&T?

Am I going to get a higher quality picture converting my 4k to 2k in Redalert, or using the log & transfer option in FCP?
 
Log and transfer is not the highest quality settings, I would go with Redalert, plus you can have more control over the look of the footage in RA. Plus, with the new version, you can do batch output (can't remember the name of the software but it comes with todays version or RedAlert).
 
I found that red alert is better for picture but I wanted to use L and T so I can bring audio from the camera. Is there anyway to do it in RED alert or RED cine?
 
how do you do batch with RA?
