Rendeing out scenes from Redcine I came upon a file that the last half of it would stop on a frame and just repeat it the end of the file.

The file plays fine in the player but will not render to any format.

I tried different formats, reloading the Red files, etc.

Is the player reading the redcode files or the quicktime?

Since it is a PC I can't seem to render out the quicktime files either as they are not recognized.

Is there a way out of this? I could really use thise files.

any help would be appreciated.

aloha,

Keith

Well, I found a way around the problem.

I rendered the stubborn files to another drive and it worked.

What is confusing is that after the render didn't work for those three files, I rendered about 6 files from another scene to that same drive and they rendered fine.

Go figure. anyway, I'm back on track.

aloha,

Keith

EDIT - Followed the Sticky, uninstalled REDCINE - deleted folder - and now the freeze frame has moved to second 21.
Downgrading to Quicktime 7.4.5 does not solve the problem. And It breaks Final Cut 6.0.4.

I'm on Mac 8-core 2.8 and All my clips get 8 seconds in and then freeze for the rest of the time. Redcine Build 108. Quicktime 7.5.0 OSX 10.5.4

Even rendering to another drive, they all freeze 9 seconds in.

I also get this effect on a Macbook pro running 10.5.4 and Quicktime 7.5.0. Redcine Build 108. All files that I have. All computers.

Also, Latest Build 16.

After Downgrading to Quicktime 7.4.5 and reinstalling Redcine and deleting the folder my exports work out of Redcine!

Now, how do I downgrade Final Cut pro?
