I just got my EVF last week and am extremely happy with the picture quality.
But the difference in color temperature between the LCD and EVF is pretty large. When the EVF looks right on, the LCD looks blue. I had noticed this before when using other monitors, but just assumed that the RED LCD was correct and that my off the shelf computer monitors were just overly warm.
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if there is a way to adjust the LCD color temperature. I can't find anything in the menus that target JUST the LCD without affecting the EVF as well.
Is this normal?

Also, the jog wheel on the side of the EVF seems a little loose - it works fine, but it rattles a bit and I can't see any way to tighten it. Does anyone know if I can adjust this?

Thank you for bringing this up! I took delivery of my EVF last week, and noticed the same - warm EVF, blue LCD, and a somewhat green Panasonic 17" LCD reference monitor to boot! I also noticed when dimming the backlight of the EVF there is a color shift toward magenta, and I wonder what type of back light was used?

Anyone else seen these issues? Any known calibration tools?

Same problem here. Blue LCD, warm EVF. You can even see it in the grey scale, bars, macbeth, etc.

It would be wonderful to offer some monitor calibration tools for the LCD and EVF - just like any other consumer, prosumer or pro monitor. I wonder if a calibration 'setup' menu could be offered in future firmware upgrades?

In fairness to Red they did offer to have a look at my EVF and re-calibrate / replace if necessary. I'm considering it. I just wish there was a color calibration menu :(

P.S. Dan @ Red hoped that the next firmware upgrade would remedy things. I know they are addressing EVF black calibration, but would this fix color balance as well?
